Recently I was asked to explain what a Project Management Office is and why would a business need one. Initially this sounds like question that would require a complex multi faceted response, but the real answer is fairly simple.
If the answer to this simple question is "No" then you are not alone, approx 31% of small businesses in NZ do not have a website!
By now almost everyone will have heard the news that the WPA2 authentication scheme that secures a large percentage of WiFi connections has been hacked. WPA2 has been considered as the de facto option for securing your WiFi network both at home and in the corporate space.
In an upcoming release of Google Chrome (October 2017), Google are going to be highlighting all non-secure websites to the site's visitors and also favouring "secure" sites in google searches.
There are a number of options when it comes to setting up a new website, whether you are looking to setup a blog, a business website that informs people of your services, or maybe an ecommerce site to sell products.
According to API, Project management is the application of processes, methods, knowledge, skills and experience to achieve the project objectives.
After a hectic first 6 months of setting up our new web design and Project Management business, we are finally ready to unveil our new website, a little later than expected, but we have been busy helping some exciting new businesses get their web presence up and running before we could take some time to concentrate on our own site.
We have a couple of Blogs that we will be running from our new Squarespace hosted site, one that will cover our web design work and any updates and news in that space, and also one focusing on the Project Management arena. These Blogs will also cross publish onto our Facebook, LinkedIn and Twitter social media accounts.
If you would like to get in touch please feel free to drop us line on Social Media or use our contact page.
